Chapter One: A Sudden Appearance Ichigo and Rukia walked through the crowded streets. There was an annual festival going on for Christmas. Rides, food carts, games, all surrounded them. It was fairly cold and snowing very lightly. The night was beautiful, from the dark sky to the flashing lights, and shows occuring right there in Karakura. They had both defeated a hollow that was alarmed for, and returned to their gigais. They were walking home when a girl called out, "Hey! Carrot-top! Ichigo knew she was referring to his orange hair, immediately. He turned around, curiously, and looked around for the person who had yelled out for him. No on
